We are not a bank that provides money, a consultant that provides advice, or an incubator that simply provides office space. When we participate with capital, we take ownership. We do not make loans.

Who this is for
A founder, owner, or operator with meaningful responsibility for a business, who lacks some combination of capital, strategic clarity, infrastructure, or operational capacity. We work across industries on purpose. We work in the United States. New companies and existing ones are both welcome; they are different engagements.
A bad fit is someone looking for a transaction rather than a partnership. We treat the underlying problem, not merely the symptom presented. We are generalists by design, specialized in business building.

Healthy businesses contribute to healthy communities. Entrepreneurship should give people greater opportunity and control over their work and lives. We help people start the companies of their dreams and become self-sufficient.
Right partner, right problem
We will not force our capabilities onto problems they are not suited to solve. When another professional, firm, or resource is better positioned to serve the business, we will say so and, where appropriate, help the entrepreneur find that resource. We distinguish our expertise from the expertise of our partners and clearly communicate our limitations.
We would rather lose an engagement by giving the right advice than win one by providing the wrong solution. We will not work with someone breaking the law, or whose outlook for the direction of their company is immoral.
